This is it. The long awaited showdown with Strahd von Zarovich.

Last episode, the party secured the bones, the skull of the legendary silver dragon Argenvast, and returned it to its home in uh Argenvast Holt, lighting the beacon and giving hope to everyone across the land as they set their sights on Castle Ravenloft for the final time. Before that, they returned Gertruda, the young girl, their kind of their first quest after the Death House was to find this girl that they finally ended up uh retrieving, bringing her home to her mother, and uh returning this family to peace yet again. They reunited with Zulika and Emile, who have joined them in this quest for the final battle at Castle Ravenloft. On their journey, they also stopped at Old Bone Grinder and picked up Esmerelda di Avenir, who seemingly was on her way to do exactly what they're planning on doing, and Fight Strahd uh very frustrated with her old mentor that he did not want to accompany her. Uh, but uh she will be a valuable companion uh on this on this battle. You guys are standing on the other side of the drawbridge. You're sitting in the wagon, pulled by Jacques. Uh, you have Zulika and Emil running next to you, and Esmeralda has pulled up and stopped her wagon in front of the drawbridge, uh waiting for the rest of you.

I don't like it. It is not the fog that is on the borders of the tree line and things like that. It definitely does not encroach. It is just the atmosphere here is very thick and heavy as you slowly and carefully walk across the drawbridge, and then what is waiting for you comes into view. You guys are still on the drawbridge, not quite up to the portcullis, but you see them in the distance. Uh and they seem to be waiting for you. Um as this light from the beacon does reach to where you are, it is kind of mixing into that fog and obscuring vision even further. Uh but the fact that it has reached Castle Ravenloft means that Strahd knows it's been lit, and he knows that everything that you guys needed to do in Castle Ravenloft apart from kill him has been done. Yeah and he is now ready for your assault on his castle. Yep. They're all undead.

You also have a swim speed equal to your speed. Um in addition, the target can spend five feet of movement to automatically escape non-magical restraints, such as manacles or the creature imposing the grappled condition.
